Other Admissions

Occasionally places become available in years 7, 8, 9 and 10.  Parents who wish for their daughter to be considered for such a place should complete a registration form and send it to the admissions office at Queen Mary’s High School.

In line with our Admissions Policy in order to ascertain whether the child is of an academic standard commensurate with those already in the school, an entrance test must be taken.  This will consist of separate tests in Mathematics and English.

Once the registration form has been received Mrs Ody, the school’s Admissions Officer, will make arrangements for the entrance tests to be taken at school.

Please note, the school’s admissions policy does not allow children to take a test for entry in years 8-10 if they have already done so for admission in Year 7 and have not achieved a mark at or above the lowest mark achieved by an admitted pupil.

We will only test candidates where we have a vacancy in the year group.

Currently we have vacancies in the following year groups:

Year 7 0
Year 8 0
Year 9 0
Year 10 0
